| We evaluated and conceived a model which offered a villa in an apartment format. Common areas are used to share utilities and other functional aspects of individual houses. The proposed hybrids could be developed at half the cost of a villa and little more than an apartment. This attracted a specific segment of the population who could not afford villas, but did not prefer an apartment. |
